Small pistol magnum primers for 9mm?

I worked my load up again with mag small pistol, CFE pistol powder, 9mm 125gr coated bullets. I think I might have ended up .1 lower, but my loads were never pushing the redline anyway.

Problems with vaccine , oh say it aint so !

1 dose of moderna down, 1 to go for me. Arm felt like I pitched 9 innings for a few days, otherwise nothing.

    Preferred barrel blanks (the company)

The rock creek contours run pretty light. The preferred #1 and the bart 2B are closer to a rock creek #4. My straight 750 showed up this week and looks less awkward than I expected. Fits the stock without any sanding too. I won't get it shoot it until next weekend, but I'll make a post once I...

Form 1 reply time...are they even processing them now?

Were you in research? I did one in October that didnt go to submitted until late January. Normal 30 days from there. If you're making something that's not on the drop down (model or caliber) it can trigger the research. In my case it was an SBR in .22. Drop down had the model but not the...

Who is paying these ammo prices?

No ammo buying here. 22 is the only thing I don't reload that I've bought in the past 18 months. $30 a brick wasn't great, but I'll tolerate it for one. If I run out of shotshells and I can't get them for under $25/100, I'll just shoot something else. I stocked up on powder before the...

    Mausingfield M7 Pressure Signs

Should get ejector marks (but more subtle) through the opening above. I don't have an MF, but my big horn gets it there if I push too hard.

    Preferred barrel blanks (the company)

I'll post when I get my 7mm-08 barrel. My hunting rifle has a rock creek #2 in 6.5 PRC. Did the math and their straight 750 should fit my stock with the shorter breach I requested. I wish they offered actual sporter contours, straight 750 is as close as they get.

    Can I use this brass

I had some very soft 6.5 creedmoor brass from Federal recently. Hot factory loads + soft brass could give what you're seeing. When buying once fired brass you're always at the mercy of the other party's honesty. I would start low and work up.

    Primers for sale-worth buying?

Estate sale product means estate sale pricing for me. Good on you for passing. Graf's had cases of winchester SRP earlier for $250. Things will get better.

Recommend Me a Drop In Rem. 700 Trigger.

Very happy with my geissele, if you like 2 stages.

    Preferred barrel blanks (the company)

Also curious to see how it shoots. My 7mm-08 barrel ordered 12/15/20 entered production on Wednesday, they cited a tooling shortage for 7mm. Looking forward to screwing it on to my hunting rifle and getting some practice in with it.

"Semi Custom" rifle around 2k dollars

The stock part is less popular for the "production series" type guns. A big horn, a prefit, and a stock and trigger of your choice should be within your price range easily.

    Would you shoot this match?

Another option is to just give everyone the same bag for the stage. Here's the stage, you have this, go. Removes that part of the gear race entirely. Sponsors might not like it. I'll also say my heaviest rifle is nowhere near 20lbs, even with my can on, but I get that you wouldn't want to have...

    PSA: I'm a complete tool

Yeah, wet clutch in the same oil too. New oil feels much different than used. On a similar note, I know people who change their oil every ride.

    PSA: I'm a complete tool

Not to dig too far into the analogy, but I know when its time to change my motorcycle oil based on how the transmission feels when shifting, usually a fair bit before the manufacturer recommended interval. Cleaning every range trip is, in my opinion, unnecessary. Lots of factors, some powders...

Stiff primers in SR lapua brass

Federal primers have a reputation for being on the large end of spec. That being said, I am using the same primers in my Lapua 6.5 brass without issue. I have 8 firings on it and used CCI 400 for the first 5-6, however.

    PSA: I'm a complete tool

I clean when accuracy degrades or I have an issue I think might be cleaning related. I never got the idea of cleaning every range trip. If its still humming, why get involved?
