    Due to your budget constraints, I agree with those above that the .223 switch barrel is a better option. Trying to match your match rifle with a dedicated trainer gets expensive quickly. I have gone the .22LR route and while it was fun and it did help, .223 at distance is much more satisfying IMO.

    Should not see that much variation over such a small temp change. I see around 30fps drop between 70* and 0*. (42.3 H3450 140RDF Starline CCI450 @ 2770 *for reference only) Something else is going on... Moisture or lube causing degradation, maybe? Scale running cold for these?
