why not just use the same classification system that already exists in the pro series? Thats your easiest route.

Amateur – Remaining shooters (approx. 30%)

I get where you are coming from. Most local matches I've shot only give a trophy to first place overall. No one is telling you that you gotta hand out a trophy for every division/ class.
I would just like to see our current classification system or a different one that we have in the pro...
Yeah i know about the pro series classification, but in order to be classified you have to shoot a minimum of 3 matches then you get your classification at the end of the year based on where you fell in the overall points for the year.
I think if they implemented classifier stages you would...
Yeah that is generally known knowledge. But for instance oklahoma matches and qualifiers are generally same difficulty given our denominator is generally the wind.
Oh I'm fully aware lol. This is my last year doing PRS. I'll be giving my money to OPPS. There atleast I have a voice and a vote and all the money goes towards a scholarship and a prize table.
How many qualifier matches were held in your region? How many did you shoot? Question I have does it not make sense to limit qualifiers to only two qualifier matches per state? And if you have multiple ranges in a state like most do you can alternate locations every year to spread the love to...
Here in the states we don't get a vote. PRS has a hand picked committee. My opinion that is part of the problem. Your membership does not give you a voice or a vote.
Qualifiers:
Shooters that have shot at least one Qualifier match are now highlighted in yellow on the PRS website in the standings and also have a checkmark next to their score on their profile. Shooters with this denotation are in the running for an invitation to a year-end finale.
A shooter...
I guess I just don't understand how having 13 qualifier matches in the central region is a good thing. If I remember correctly twisted barrel got 3 of those qualifier matches. I'm all for a match being reasonably close for a shooter to get a qualifier score at but my opinion having 13 qualifier...
Your not wrong trust me. Just wanted to bring up a talking point. Like one point no one has touched on is the amount of qualifier matches we had on schedule this year. Is more better? Or is less better quality?
You laugh but there are a handful of pros that actually request their scores not to be submitted. Trust me I get it, I'll catch alot of flack for that opinion.
Haha no I'm definitely not whining. I'm pretty happy how I've competed this year on the regional level especially the shooters I've had to compete against.
No I don't think they should sit out of matches at all. Idk I'm probably way out of line here, but I feel if I was at that level and...
I have shot 3 different lots of DTACS this year in regional PRS matches and I've never changed my load or seating depth. My waterline has always been the same no matter the lot number. My trued BC is .308
So I believe Frank hits the nail on the head on a few points. One thing I've noticed this year strictly on the regional level is just how tight and far down the points are this year for the central region. Like having 9 shooters at 300. This was not this case last year. In my opinion on the...
