Accuracy One premier primer guage odd Measurements
My Virgin Lapua are .127 with calipers and .122 with Accuracy One. I am not too where I can measure the stem. However, I know my tool always reads negative .201 when zeroed. Will have to measure stem later but would think when zeroed it wouldn't matter?- bbowles

I thought the same. However, I even checked Virgin brass and was same .005 difference. I do not uniform or clean. I do tumble in rice for two hours and get a decent cleaning job. I checked with calipers and made sure to check pockets towards outside like this tool. I would assume your thoughts...- bbowles

Recently bought this and not sure why I am getting some weird measurements in primer pocket depths. I have new and once fired brass from Lapua, Alpha and Nosler in 6.5 Creedmoor with large rifle primer. Have tried the Redding bushing die many times over the years. With Ti bushings, steel bushings, carbide expander ball, steel expander ball, and even no expander ball. Sorry for that long winded post. Anyone have any suggestions as to why the arbor press seater setup (k&m press with both the sinclair/Wilson and the Micron arbor dies) is almost double the runout of the Redding Comp seater on conventional press? 0.0036 mean vs 0.0020 bullet runout? Haven't got my Sinclair Wilson seater back but I did check on Bullet Central's site and they got the Micron arbor seating die back in stock. I couldn't resist. So I bought it and same exact bullet runout as with the Wilson. Man is the Micron slick! But same results. My old Redding Comp seater...- bbowles

My sinclair Wilson will be a while getting it back from them and Micron die probably be longer than I want to wait. If you needed to get a inline seater die sooner which one would you choose if price wasn't a deterrent?- bbowles

Decided to talk with LE Wilson customer service. They agreed is odd every way i tried this die setup i would go from 0.001 neck runout to 0.004 BULLET runout. Even when same setup but use my Redding Comp seater on area 419 press and I get 0.002 all day long for bullet runout. I talked to Tarina...- bbowles

Actually my runout issue is not solved. Not a big fan of this sinclair Wilson seater. The standard stem worked decent for just few test cases but have loaded several and average close to 0.004 like the vld stem. Problem was solved with the set screw pushing the stem crooked. Back to straight 0.002 to 0.003 runout. Good idea on the set screw on the top of the seater stem/cap assembly! You did make me go look at box it came in. It says it is sinclair/Wilson vld drift assembly stainless steel cap. However, the product number on box is BSA-V65S. Sinclair website has it as BSD-V65. It looks the same as the standard stem assembly that came with the diebut my bullets definitely...- bbowles

Yes i did. I have the Sinclair/Wilson version of die. Sinclair didn't have the vld stem so Wilson sent me it. It says on box it is Sinclair stem? Makes me wonder though. Not sure how it would cause high runout even if wrong one.- bbowles
