New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
This guy I'm talkin about has made more "impossible shots" than anybody ever. It's just funny cause he is actually a pretty good buddy of mine and I've learned to ignore most horse shit that comes out of his mouth. I've shot enough with him to know he is about a 1/8 as good as he claims he is...
Had a guy tell me the other day he completely dropped a cow elk at 40 yards with a rock.
Same guy once shot a black bear in the eye at 800 yards with an old 06 with irons and called his shot.
Mark 248 mod 1 like chad said. You should try to work something out with him. Chad whipped one up for me and holly fuck. Incredible. 230 bergers runnin 2960. Accurate as hell.
Since you got a little Winchester I would play with it and figure out what your gun likes and then if you decide to go to Norma drop your charge about 1.5-2gr from what the Winchester likes. Probably loose bout 100-150 fps in my experience. Good luck. 300 whinny is great caliber.
Not sure about the new Winchester but the blue bag stuff you could push pretty hard. Norma is softer in the head of the case. Norma is pretty ok though.
I hunt elk on public land here in Wyoming with good luck and run into some people and most are friendly. The funny part is most of the people are in their pickup on the road and those are the real fuck heads. I don't deal with them cause I'm on foot in the steep shit working for it. Steeper the...
Like said above call chad. He will convince you to go with the comp. He has done his research and tested the shit out of the cartridge and it is incredible really. Norma brass and RL-26 and a 105-115 and you will love it. As far as grooves chad will help you.
Ah the bend tests. Takes me back a little ways. Not able to zoom in on your pictures but congratulations. Last welding test I took was bucyrus Erie tubular boom. If I remember right it was 16" pipe 1" thick. Took 6 hours from prep to blend. We use a special 80,000 psi hard wire for these booms...
Like others have said really look at the sig 2200. Although I've only had mine a week and a half I love the damn thing. I hate to tell you that I paid only $420 through a buddy that's a dealer but even if I had to pay full price I still wouldn't bitch. Very easy to use even for me and I ain't...
