New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
So I've always had a problem with camming over. It's honestly just crap to me...
In the world of precision reloading, why are we supposed to rely on the method of "push super hard bro" as an acceptable method of changing a measurement? I mean if we're talking about setting back a shoulder 0.001...
Sorry, guess I should've been more clear.
I am resizing off of fired brass.
So I just need to sand my shellholder with standard sandpaper....that'll do it? o.O
Why?
I'm using Redding FL resizing dies from the National Match Die Set. I've got every tool under he sun to measure headspacing, including the Hornady tool and even the Larry Willis digital tool. Measuring unfired Lapua brass from the same batch, I get once fired .223 and .308 brass that...
Personally, if I was going to spend the cash on a Magnetospeed, I would hold off for one of these: mylabradar.com
I just don't like the idea of attached something to my barrel...
I think I may pickup some hornady quick change bushings and an instant indicator. It won't be as fast as the T7, but should allow me to adopt a similar method. Thanks again!
Another awesome video. Please keep them coming!
Makes me really want to add a T7 to my bench... I'm only using a Big Boss II right now with one set of calipers...so taking my comparator on/off the calipers and swapping dies takes alot of time...
Sorry, I just got around to watching the video as I usually browse the hide on my phone.
I've gotta say that that is the best video on seating depth I've watched. Very very well done. I've taught myself reloading through lots of books and even more videos...but your video explained everything...
I bought the Redfield 20-60x80. Really disappointed. Tons of chromatic aberration. I really think ED glass is a requirement for even am entry level scope.
Relatively new reloader here, but I'm more than well aware of the basics and what I should/shouldn't be doing.
I'm having a problem with my Redding Competition seating die for my .223. After I set my depth and start seating bullets, the seating depth will progressively shorten as I load. For...
I love Vortex...it's just that nothing new from them is within my range and their lowest priced scope, the Diamondback, isn't exactly getting resounding endorsements...
How much extra bang for my buck would I get by reaching into the seat cushions for some extra cash and getting the Bushnell...
I had an old Leupold that was stolen out of my the back of my truck last summer and I've yet to replace it...I need to do that.
I plan on doing it right in about 2 years with a good $2000ish investment in a spotting scope, but I can't justify that now...so I need something to bridge the gap...
Take a look at the 180gr Scirocco bullets. Some of the best expansions I've seen in a 30 cal in S. Texas whitetail.
In stock: Swift Scirocco 2 Bullets 30 Cal (308 Diameter) 180 Grain Bonded
Sorry to resurrect my old post, but I finally got back on the bench. Oklahoma weather has been unkind and my garage reloading setup hasn't been ideal in this weather...
Quick early question: Since I wet tumble my brass in SS media, do I need to deburr/dechamfer again after cleaning...
