New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
It's very bad there. My hometown got hit with 175 mph winds and gusts of around 200 mph. My cousin lost her home and my uncle lost his roof. That's all I know about my family at the moment. Haven't spoke to the rest.
I am too since it seems like it'll die down quite a bit before hitting mid-Florida. Worse case, there's a shelter nearby in case it's worse than expected.
I'm running them at a .340 BC from a 6.5 CM. I started at .330 but noticed my rounds were high at a 1210 yd target. This is after using the Magnetospeed and inputting all the data into my Ballistic calc. I adjusted my BC and made consistent impacts out to 1400 after that. My velocity was 2861 fps.
I prefer magnification to about 25x. But in reality, you'll find yourself using 10-15x in most matches that require movement and target acquisition. Once on target, I do zoom in if time allows.
I went out and tested them today. My numbers were pretty close at 42.3 and 42.5 gr of H4350. However, my 42.5 group was better and measured .440 MOA. I'll be loading some more around those charges and play with seating depth. I loaded everything to .030 off the lands.
