    Chassis for CZ 455

It’s a 455 with a Keystone Accuracy barrel. The trigger is a Scar 2 stage. It is probably the best feeling 2 stage trigger I’ve used. It’s a true, safe 2 stage that I beta tested a while back and have been using ever since. It’s set up at 6 total ounces right now and breaks like glass.

    Chassis for CZ 455

I bought the black panels and like how it looks much better, I’m not a fan of OD green. I read here or somewhere that they take Rit Dye well, which I could have done in hindsight.

    Chassis for CZ 455

I tried the JP one on another rifle, but it’s Delrin and I prefer metal. They do have one that also fits an arca rail and picattiny, but it wasn’t listed on their website last I checked. I had to email XLR and wait for a notification once another batch was ready. They sell out quick but they...

    Chassis for CZ 455

I have the XLR M-Lok one. I had to mill off the front M-Lok tab so it would sit flush, but that will never be visible and won’t affect anything if I use it on a different rifle. I could have added a screw to the front hole and used the sling swivel hole, but I wanted it flush with the front...

    Chassis for CZ 455

I’m not sure how the balance would be with a regular barrel. It’s definitely front heavy with the 24” barrel on mine but that’s an outlier. Good point on the folding stock. It’s a solid piece of aluminum front to back.

    Chassis for CZ 455

I’m still loving it. The only minor faults are the lack of a folding option(just to make cleaning the bore a little easier) and I would prefer the foreend to be completely flat. I had to do a little work to get a M-lok bag rider to fit. I recently added front and rear bag riders for a bench...

Rifle Scopes Athlon Ares ETR vs BTR?

I’ve had both scopes and I have a Cronus BTR now. The ETR was much closer to the Cronus image wise and has better turrets, IMO.

Rifle Scopes Burris XTR iii, how are they doing?

Anyone have a 3.3-18 and a Cronus BTR? I'm getting tempted to try and trade the Cronus for a lower mag scope and I'm curious how the glass compares up to 18x. The Razor 3-18 seems to be a heavy pig compared to the XTRIII.

    MDT Oryx Chassis

I'd love it if MDT made optional bag rider panels, like the mock up posted earlier in the thread. I'd buy that in a heartbeat. I was also able to fit a XLR 3" front M-Lok bagrider. I had to grind off the front M-Lok tab and leave the first attachment screw out but it works great.

    MDT Oryx Chassis

I picked up the 2nd version for my bench .22. It fits just right and appears to be solid.

I'm testing out a new, true 2 stage CZ 455 trigger

I'm currently testing out a 2-stage 455 trigger made by rimfirecentral.com member BScar. Here's the link if anyone is interested: Info

Rifle Scopes SIG Alpha2 one piece mounts?

    Any clue where made?

I Know It Isn’t Just Me

I have spent stupid (for me) amounts of money over the years on rimfires. The way I figure it is that I enjoy the process of shooting regardless of caliber. I also think inaccurate rifles are boring. I can afford to shoot accurate rimfires way more often than accurate centerfires, so I might as...

    Chassis for CZ 455

Check out the MDT Oryx. I have one on my 455. They have an Arca rail that fits the angled forend and the price is great. I really like the Rigid Alloy too. A lesser known one is Indian Creek Design MoFo chassis with a machined Arca foreend. I have a KRG Bravo on a Howa and I like the Oryx a...

Rifle Scopes New Meopta Scope - Optika6

I ordered a Tango6t 1-6 for a really good price, but I would still look at the Meopta for another rifle if more info was out there. I'll check the Ar15 archives. Thanks.

    Rifle Scopes Vortex Golden Eagle

According to couple of old posts on accurateshooter.com, Vortex said the glass has always been the same. They just added the "HD" later for marketing purposes. I couldn't find the posts but an email to Vortex should confirm quickly. I had one of the originals and it was a great scope.

Optics Sold Excellent Vortex PST II FFP 3-15 EBR-2C MRAD $650 Shipped

***Sold*** I've got an excellent condition PST II that's too much on my rifle. I bought a LPVO and this has to go. Aside from minor ring shine, it looks new. It comes with box, sunshade, etc. I'll also throw in a MDT grip if you need one. Price is $650 shipped, US shipping only. I accept...

Rifle Scopes New Meopta Scope - Optika6

Can anyone with a SFP 1-6 tell me how the brightness compares to a P4xi or a PST Gen 2?

    Gunsmithing Stock Sponge Painting

That’s one of the best sponge paint jobs I’ve seen so far. I wouldn’t change a thing. What paint/colors did you use?

Went to the store and it only reinforced my belief that 90% of people are inbred morons

I'm screwed. I have enough tp to last me a year but my wife will run through it in 2 weeks. I told her she'll have to use leaves and corn cobs, but she didn't find that as funny as I did...
