    Another vote for the Gunfighters Inc Kenai. I wear mine under a Marsupial bino harness and forget it’s there but can still draw quickly if needed. As mentioned above, I too like having a pistol on me in the event I drop my pack for whatever reason.

    Confused on Manners mini chassis

    There’s a couple different mini chassis that they offer. The M5 mini chassis on the LRH requires bottom metal such as Hawkins to function. I’m not sure if the mini chassis you want is available on the LRH.

    Hunting & Fishing Call remote mount for tripod leg?

    I got the tripod chaps from Fehu outdoors and stuck a piece of Velcro on the back of the remote. Works great. Also got a Rifles Only data card holder so I can keep the sound list handy.     They will inlet for a short action Howa 1500 so you’re good to go. Give em a call to order or if you find one of the flat top stocks you want online, there’s a box you can type a note telling them it’s for a Howa.
