    I've heard to many times of them hitting pressure early with 1.0625 tennon. I'd go for something with a 1.250 thread. Are you planning on shooting it in light class? if not I'd just go straight to a 375 CT

    I have the soundgear in ear and have been very happy with them. FWIW I had to take the connecting strap off. I found it caused more problems than it solved, the only time they'd ever get dislodged was when that strap caught on something like even on my clothes. Never had one come out or loose...

    here's mine. Base is just white, I didn't go for the thermometer, I kinda figured there's nothing a guy can do about it anyways. I do have some humidity packs but you are still at the mercy of what they can accomplish.

    @ut755ln I've seen that article. Since I started this thread in 2022 I've ended up with an Accutac HD-50 for my ELR rifle, and then I've got several versions of the CKYEPOD. That HD-50 is so solid for ELR it's perfect and tracks very well with ski feet on it. The adjustability of the CKYEPOD...

    My Accutac one never moves, the CKYEPOD Arca I check every stage and it slides around a fair bit. When I put that Accutac on my 375 I did put a small Socket head cap screw in the rail to prevent it from ever sliding off. It's never been an issue but now it can't come off under recoil.

    I mag feed 250 A-tips which are much longer than Bergers. It definitely impedes case capacity a bit but for matches like NF I'm not single feeding.

    Ballistic calculator should account for spin drift. I'm not familiar with Geo ballistics but I'd bet it's in there. Look through the settings.

    I use G96 works great. Follow the instructions, spray everything down, wait a minute and wipe it off. To much of any lube is bad in the cold.

    Yes. For me anyways I don't shoot F-class or BR so trying to squeeze every little bit of accuracy is fruitless. a slightly smaller group size isn't likely to produce any more points/ hits on plate. Plus at the point I'd be curious to whether or not it actually has a meaningful impact on accuracy.

    or just pretend they don't exist. That is my normal practice. I actually do want to take a couple pieces over to buddies with pin gauges and see if there's anything there worth doing something about but in general my rifles shoot good enough for me so why worry about it.
