New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Then it might be extractor tension or something. Perhaps try changing extractor assemblies between the functional and non-functional boltheads and see if that changes things.
The origin's ejector pivots on a pin at the rear of the bolt stroke as it engages the case head. It sounds like the malfunctioning bolthead has an obstruction in the channel that is not allowing the ejector to pivot enough?
Another thing is that the 6.5 CM more or less runs up against short action mag lengths as it is. I'm tempted to go for a Long Action build as well just so that I can help future proof against longer bullets in the future, as the trend seems to be. And also be able to shoot long action calibers...
Interested in an action to potentially move my origin action into an Eliseo chassis. So I now would prefer a custom made short or long action. Savage tenon is preferable, but I'm flexible. Also, scope base detachability does not matter.
Thanks!

And here is the actual report...
I am now receiving hundreds of emails ,dating back weeks, at once. What is going on?
Edit: I'm going to assume it's a backlog either being released by my email service or the forum is bugging out.
Not to bring up a (too) old post but Starline has an interesting article in regards to necking down their brass.

John was making bighorn prefits either with a more generous headspace to account for tolerances or tailor-made to a specific action you sent in.
Is this the general prefit or one made to a specific action?
