    Ss media vs ultrasonic

+1 on the rebel 17. Really nice. Everything is super over the top thought of. There's cheaper out there. But this is designed specifically for reloading. It really does a nice job. It's in its second generation so many improvements made it a lot better I guess. I only have the gen 2 so I can't...

    Ss media vs ultrasonic

Stainless takes ur chamfer away so be careful seating ur VLDs as they may get bitten if you forget to put ur chamfer back on. But I don't even use my ultrasonic much anymore at all. Stainless tumbling is just as easy and does a better job.

    What's a Break In?

Stag556 hit it on the nose! I think when I watched that Long Range Shooters of Utah interviewing the founder/owner of Krieger barrels that gave me the confidence to stop breaking barrels in. Here's another one that Frank did with Bartlein. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rW6SF-jlbkg

    What's a Break In?

Shilen on their website has something similar to the above gentlemans's method. Shoot 1 clean 1 five times. Then shoot 5 and clean once until you have 50 rounds down the tube. But not taking copper out of the barrel. The copper will be filling in any imperfections and machine marks from the...

    .223 long range

6.5 guys said they had to get different smaller steel targets at 700 yards because they were destroying their usual ones. I think they went to 4 inch steel at 700 yards so they didn't ruin it at quickly and made it a little more challenging. They used 75 grain A Max. Cool was 2.484. And 24.5...

    Should I shoot a 6mm

I will say when I first started shooting it was all about the 6.5mm... Never thought about the 6mm. We have been shooting longer and longer and have had a great time doing it. My father bought a 6mm Dasher Norma. EVERYTHING CHANGED. It is so sweet to shoot. NO RECOIL! Even at 100 yards you get...

    6mm Dasher

Shot with a modest 31.5 grains of IMR 8208 XBR with 80 grain flat base bergers at 240 yards. Got 3105 fps and shot half MOA. At 100 yards we stacked bullets on top of one another. We just used this load to fire form our lapua brass. Can't wait to shoot the 105s to see what happens. I wonder if...
