Rifle Scopes Athlon Optics -New floating center dot reticle

.25 MOA on the Cronus btr2 or as close to the MR4 Minox as possible. Then also a 2 MIL scale to measure in the upper right corner!!!!!! This will make the scope a tier 1 killer

    Rifle Scopes Cronus clarity

The BTR has fixed the parallax tightness. It's really really good now. I've used it in prs where you can't touch your scope when they say go. Shot from 300 to 1000 with no adjustment. Easy to do. Very forgiving glass.

    Rifle Scopes Cronus clarity

It is not normal. I have that issue. After the season mine will go in. I contacted Athlon. They said no problem having that taken care of. The filament is slightly off center.

what ammo for German Mauser K98

Prvi. And it's reloadable. Otherwise go for the yugo white box with the purple sealant on the primer. That stuff was made special for the snipers.

    High end scale question

I think basically what folks are saying is. If you go this route and buy a 'high end scale" which ur post is named. You get not just a scale but you've bought into a system. For the price of you selling your charge master you can get any auto trickled system and you don't have to check your...

    High end scale question

The accuracy isn't all that you get with the autotrickler and Fx120i setup. It's the ease it's gets you to one kernel every time. I sit back and enjoy my time with the measuring of power stage of handloading. Totally stress free. It's worth it. I think about how I used to do it and breathe a...

Rifle Scopes Need help Burris Xtr 2 4-20, Bushnell DMR gen2 3.5-21, PST gen 2 4-20.

I had 2 of the Burris XTR2 4-20 Scr. Tracked awesome. Reticle is really nice. Build was nice. Glass was terrible. It seems the more money one spends on a scope the less of a compromise must happen for the price point to be correct. Especially with your 'experienced' eyes you will notice a...

    6mm comp match or creedmore?

I have a 6comp match (kinda, long story) and am shooting 115 JLKs at 3113 fps. Use RL26 47.5 grains. Has sub 10 SDs. And shoots consistently tighter groups during development than my dads 6 Lapua so he says. My other load for 105 JLKs is 47.18 grains of RL26 going 3240 fps. And I have zero shift...

Rifle Scopes Athlon Cronus BTR review

I agree on all counts. I've run my Cronus BTR in 3 prs events now. And I couldn't be happier. I don't know where you'd be able to pick up a $1450 scope and have all the bells and whistles this does and the glass it has. Comparing to the Minox zp5. It has a slight disadvantage. But that's a 3300...

    A&D FX120 OR SATORIUS?

I have the exact same setup. It's really amazing. It's stress free handloading and has the resolution to the thousandths gram. So all my handloads are within 3 thou of a gram + or - 1. Makes for some awesome consistency. To me. There isn't a need to spend a lot more for just a little better if...

    Gunsmithing torque wrench

The FixIts are really nice and cheap for a field ready situation. They can be ordered in whatever inch lbs u need. They currently measure identical to our Armstrong torque wrenches.

    6x45 or 6.5 Creedmoor

The 6mm x 45 isn't that cheap as far as bullet choices are concerned. If you do go with a "lightweight" 6 x 45mm it won't be the best trainer rifle due to barrel heat up and POI shift. Go get ur CM and use a 223 wylde to practice on. We run Bighorn TL3 and have our match barrels in 6mm wildcats...

    ARC Mags

Ran a match on Saturday with my TL3 MPA 6mm Comp Match Improved (6mm Unicorn) not a single issue. The ARC mag was able to get my COAL with 115 JLKs to where I need them to be 2.851. It was perfect. Dad ran same setup running 6mm Lapua. No issues at all. To date neither of us have had a single...

    Cost savings of reloading

What he said. What you are doing when handloading is having the ability to bring the best of what the gun can do to the table. If you have factory you cannot ensure you are at .020 off the lands and test that every 100 or so rounds. Find the best node that the barrel harmonics likes. And shoot...
