New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
LMT is totally obtainable at that price, you just need to sign up for alerts and pull the trigger when it comes in stock. I have recived 2 or 3 notifications this year for under $300.
To answer the OP's question, both LMT and ADM (only two on your list I have used) are excellent with solid...
I would rather have an AR but I'm fine with an AK with a red dot and a light. That can easily be archived with an Ultimak and thorntail mount. I have a 74 arsenal that I would take to war if that was all I had. I think you should be agnostic with any of the systems and know how to run them all.
Presample depot had then for around 3500 a while back. You could look around and find it cheaper. I just saw those about a month ago. But like LEO trade in GLOCKS they look like they have under 500 rounds of use.
I think the SR is a special gun. On the Reliability side of the AR house it has features that no one else has. Because of that and it was the final chapter of Stoner I think it's a no brainer keeper.
The HK in my opinion is not a special gun. If it was a real 416 upper than that would be...
Do you still have the A2 gas block? If you do I have seen this in the past where because the way the A2 and barrel mate up when you take that away you change the harmonics. I would generally recommend to shave down the A2 to fit under a free float handguard. This has the benefit of keeping the...
I would ping Geissele and get them to send you new trigger pins just to check for tolerance stacking. If after receiving, installing and using the new pins you still have the same issue I would contact Aero for a new lower.
Just as an FYI the Scalarworks is not really a qd mount. It is more of a toolless mount. The way it is designed the knobs can sometimes be a bitch but the main issue is, you have to go back and forth between the knobs so you dont apply too much force to one side locking it up (unclear to me why...
With the adjustable gas block requirement I would say no you would want to build. Unclear to me why you would have a high accuracy requirement with an eotech.
My easy button without a stainless steel barrel would be a DDM4 V7S. Its properly gassed and generally will shoot 1.5 moa with decent...
To my knowledge they would have been a mil contract or come off a full fde mil SR. There is is a KAC forum on arfcom that may be helpful in your quest.
308 gas guns are much harder to shoot than AR15s and bolt guns.
In your shooting what ammo were you using? Did sig say what ammo they used in their test target? Is this your first 308 gas gun?
The sig and the SCAR 20 are two different guns with different use cases. One is more of a precision...
I would say I can shot a precision AR fairly well (sub MOA). 308 gassers not as well (1.5 MOA) but I am learning. But when my SR25 has a good day and I am having a good day I get results like this out of my APC (far better results than out of a PredatOBR):
Completely agree with this. Every barrel has its own personality. You and your buddy may get the exact same barrel but they may like different loads. I generally try 6 or 7 match loads of different weights to see what the gun likes and go from there. The holy grail is one that likes them all.
You could also build out a LaRue Billet Lower. They are showing on the website but I would call to check availability. I would much prefer an LMT or SR lower but if the Larue lower are in stock they may be the easy button.
