New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Hmm, thought I posted this before but it vanished....
I had a chance to go to Shot Show last week. There was nothing really new or interesting for the TRG or M10.
I did however get to speak to one of the product managers at SAKO. I asked about new calibers for the M10. He refused to comment...
That seems like a good solution for the TRG. I will have to figure something out for the M10. No removable rail. Might be able to do something with the Spuhr mount though.
You should try Midwest Gun works for the screws. They have a good selection of parts for TRG.
Failing that try the folks at Beretta USA and see if they can help you.
Worst case, they are regular metric screws. A good hardware store should be able to sort you out.
Tikka!
The Tikka T3X TAC has a very nice 2 stage trigger.
There are plenty of after market accessories.
Go in to a store and handle one. If the chassis fits you well, the action and the trigger will make the decision for you.

I will never sell mine.

If you are talking about the TRG then yes absolutely. The TRG-22/42 are among the best rifles you can get short of custom. Right out of the box they are perfect. I also think the TRG trigger is the best in the world.
If you are talking about the M10 that is a slightly different...
+1 for Terje's solution. The only thing I don't like is the wheels that stick out. That is why I posted the LRI solution. There are pics posted a couple pages back.
Some follow up. I am loving the M10. I have shot mostly .308 with it. I have not taken it past 900 yetI had an additional barrel made by LRI in 7-300 Win Mag. I had to sacrifice a barrel to have it done so it was more expensive than I would want. I had it chambered for the Berger 195s. They...
I have a pair of 1500s. I check them against each other periodically. They always match if they are calibrated. I can load very consistent ammo with them.
If you have accurate consistent ammo then you are fine. If you are getting weird inconsistencies or fliers then you have a problem.
Is the...
