    Yes, that looks like a print for a pin that will always be an interference fit with the barrel extension, according to this print. Also only calls for 30 minute angular accuracy, or 0.5 degree, a lot more than the 0.01 degree caused by the undersized pin. Also a pretty standard spec for a...

    The colt tdp likely relates back to the reamed hole in the barrel extension and the desired interference fit, more than the index slot clearance. At worst, you'll be off 0.01 degrees beyond the tdp spec....

    Because people like playing games with the atf. Just like "solvent traps". The ones that are monocores are asking for trouble. The ones full of holes on the outside, are aware what can happen. It's nonsense, but "not designed for firearms" doesn't protect you from trying to cheat the law.

    They not "moderators" they're still silencers. It's the fact that they're permanently attached to non firearms (depending on the state) that keeps them off the nfa. Some states classify muzzle loaders as firearms and the maxim 50 was not sold there. The same rules apply for non movable guns...

    On roller delayed guns, you have to change the locking piece. There's some discussion on this on arfcom, TBAC may look into it.

    No reloading input, but that is a savage axis. Also, second the comments on savage actions being plenty strong. I've put about 3k of 8k rounds of 338 lapua through one, and closer to 10k 300wm through another. Interesting indeed.
