    Maybe sell some of your “several lighter rifles” and use the money to buy something worthwhile. The scope you want and the price you want to pay doesn’t exist.

    I don't know why people act like JP carriers and bolts are superior to KAC/LMT BCG's. My 20" 6.5 MWS has not had any issues with factory hornady 140eldm ammo. If you want to squeeze every ounce of pressure of a caliber you can possibly get, a gas gun is not the right tool for the job.

    Some people can make a thermal mono and PVS14 work together on a bridge mount. Others have not been successful with it. Most people that have both, use NV to navigate and thermal to shoot/detect. @wigwamitus is a good source for someone who uses NV and thermal monoculars together on a helmet.

    That's surprising. You must have a heavy can, longer rail, and 24" barrel? My MWS is basically the same as yours minus the red dot and not that heavy. I know the SR25 is generally 1lb lighter in equivalent setup according to specs from the factory.

    Correct. The package only comes with the clicky tailcap. You could save yourself $20 and buy the light body, head, tailcap plugin and the switch separately.     I’ve really enjoyed my modlite OKW lights. With a LPVO and OKW, you can shoot 200 yards at night pretty easily.
