    Spot on. A shit ton of winning rifles do not shoot tiny groups at 100yds. It is load consistency that wins at distance. Pick a load that has good margin on both sides and get past 100yds. You will get more hits at distance.......shooting a .5moa rifle at distance than a .1moa at 100yds. Also...

    About as amazing as mk262 vs m118lr. In my experience 0-600/700yds......any reseasonable round for longrange shooting is close in trajectory.......extreme outliers excluded. Your 28" 22creedmoor is NOT similar to your 16" 308 gasgun........haha. Sounds like Geissele really put in the work...

    I hope this doesn't come across as insulting. Can you post a pic of the installed trigger. I have seen people install triggers in Impacts with the hanger upside down that has lead to trigger issues. This might explain two different brand/design triggers having the same issue. Ern

    Good point. This would be rem700 and clones with corresponding remington style triggers. Others can have this issue win70s....for example but I don't want to make a sweeping claim. But anytime you are fighting the firing pin spring when closing the bolt on the ramps is not the best solution. Ern
