    Bushing or mandrel or both?

I have the SAC die with the mandrel. The bushing is only slight smaller than the mandrel with Lapua brass. I personally don’t have an issue with the mandrel on the upstroke and have yet to see a good argument as to why this bad, although one may be forthcoming. Every expander ball ever used...

    Low Cost Annealers

Low cost is perspective of course. I’m very happy with the Ugly Annealer. Should be around $300 going by memory.

Best value for a benchrest/reference scope?

SWFA fixed power. I have a 20x sitting just for eliminating possible scope issues when something is not right. Awful glass, awful eye box. Solid and reliable.

.22 bolt action CZ 455, grouping went from 1/2 at 50 yards to 1-2 inches

Even though it’s the same ammo did you change boxes during that time? Different lot numbers can do that to you.

You send your barrel back because "It won't shoot" - first thing the maker does is.....

For me it was when the reamer chatter was so bad it printed on the brass.

To those who say lower cost guns aren't "accurate"..

I try not to, but I keep coming back to this thread, it’s like fucking a dead whore.

To those who say lower cost guns aren't "accurate"..

There’s a whole lot more wrong with your disposition than there is with your Savage.

Zermatt Orgin 6.5CM light primer strikes??? ( pic heavy) *RESOLVED*

That’s great news and easy fixes are nice, but you do some to the worst file work I’ve ever saw!! In all seriousness I’ve had to do this to two different stocks. It happens when you repurpose things.

You send your barrel back because "It won't shoot" - first thing the maker does is.....

Marginally. I was not happy, and it may have been my lack of resolve. I’ve had much better luck with others. It NEVER shot good. I did put forth the effort.

You send your barrel back because "It won't shoot" - first thing the maker does is.....

Only have had to do this once. The barrel manufacturer insisted I send in my entire rifle, scope and all. They got back to me promptly and said there was nothing at all wrong with the barrel but they replaced it to eliminate it as an issue. They then proceeded to tell me I had my scope...

Getting into reloading- Buy the best press I can afford, or start more slowly?

It’s also a monster compared to the T-7

Getting into reloading- Buy the best press I can afford, or start more slowly?

Even with the Zero the T-7 stays full and used regularly for 260 Remington and 45 Colt.

Getting into reloading- Buy the best press I can afford, or start more slowly?

I also have the Zero. The dies are all interchangeable unless you’re getting the head for the big dies on the Zero. At that point you’ve made a specific choice anyway. And to the other above, I did exactly as you described. Rock Chucker-T7- then the Zero. I really really like my Zero but I...

Getting into reloading- Buy the best press I can afford, or start more slowly?

In my opinion you can make the best ammo on a Rockchucker or a T7. Everything else just makes it faster but I don’t see a quality increase past that.

    SAC Modular Sizing AI?

I’m using the sac die for my 7-08 and am looking to rechamber to Ackley Improved. SAC does not make an AI neck/shoulder bushing for the 7-08 but they do make one for the 280 AI. The shoulder angle is the same and the neck diameter is correct. The shoulder to body width is also the same...

    Ammo Box

Thanks for the input. I guess it’s time to bust out the sharpie or Krylon. I’ve already written GAY on all my buddies Creedmoor boxes.

    Ammo Box

I’ve been using the MTM Case Gard but they’ve dropped the red box. It may be simple minded but I use the colors for caliber organization. I’m looking for another brand box at this point and have been looking at Evergreen. Any opinions on this or better recommendations?

Muzzle Brakes poor form at the range?

This thread affected me, so much so that when I went to the range range this week I ask my fellow shooters if they were offended. They said you were a bunch of pussies, rock out with your cock out.

I had to download them to see them, might as well print one to try. Thanks.
