New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
That’s about 7 cents per round on your largest cartridge. I’m no fan of R16, but if it was my thing I wouldn’t flinch at that price if I thought it was a superior powder for my needs.
So with the adjustable arm on the 419 a bolt on tab could be put on the arm to press the primer loader on every upstroke. I’m sure that would work on most presses. Every time you raise the handle and lower the ram a new primer would be charged. Shortstroking the ram this dang thing could be...
The safety manager should provide proper hearing protection for your specific needs. I know we have addressed these specific needs at my workplace 100% at the cost of the employer. Good luck.
Is the Locking the same as the NLE as far as feel and sound? I’ve been contemplating sending mine in for months to convert to NLE until my last time out. Against a clock I never look at the turret and somehow wound up .4 high. I go by sight and feel. I know I must have bumped this somehow...
Measure the oal without any attachment just using the calipers. Now that I see how your doing it, I believe this is a thing. I don’t even understand the purpose of the piece your using on the base.
So what’s the barrel life on the WM? You gonna shoot 10 outings and get a new barrel? Can you get 100 rounds out of a pound of powder?
You said you have lots of wm ammo? What is a lot and is factory or hand loaded?
I shoot a bastard round in the 7-08 so don’t think I’m being a giant...
I’m confused, why would you reset the seating die between brass types. How would you change the die and not expect a different result? It’s very possible I’m misunderstanding.
Don’t forget the doors. I insulated mine after 2 years. Cost around $200 I think. Cut my electric bill by 35% roughly. My wife was less than proud of me since it took two years.
Mini-split was my single best purchase for my shop. It even has a dehumidifier mode for when I don’t need heat/cool. I am running double the needed btu for quick cool and heat cycles. Being a dc compressor it runs at the required speed vs cycling all the time. This also helps with humidity...
I’m not calling bs on a 50 barrel claim. I’ve been kind on here because they did give me good customer service, but the original prefit I got from them was the shittiest chambering I’ve ever saw. It was so rough it marked the brass. They did replace the barrel and tell me it was to eliminate...
The stand is definitely not necessary if you are permanently mounting the press. I use the stand and clamps because I move my press around and also take it to the range. My T7 is also on a stand and I switch them around depending on what I’m doing. At the range I can have them all loaded...
I think anyone having issues with the lock rings on the Zero is drinking far too much, or the lack understanding.
Now, I have a Zero and a T7 among others I don’t recommend the Zero over the T7. Not for my use.
I use the SAC die and 419 shell holder set. I don’t know that 419 shell holder is useable with presses other than the zero. At least not the set I got.
The Redding Competition seater is a good choice.
