    300 win mag rifle choice

I started with a Remington 700 Police in 300WM. After a while, I had done what most Remington 700 owners have done. I changed just about everything but the action and barrel. Then I got the urge to have it rebuilt to something like a Mark 13 mod 5. And now 3,5 years down the road, the only thing...

    How much brass

I keep about 200 in circulation for my .308 win. And usually about 150 for my Win Mag. I did however load up 200 Win Mags for a planned trip to a proper long range shooting range, but then Corona came along...so...

    What's your favorite stock?

Stocks: McMillan A3-5 or plain A5. But I would love to get a hold of a Manners some day. Chassis: KRG Whiskey 3. All day, every day!

NM Langhold, my story from the hardest competition in Scandinavia

Background: I have been shooting precision rifles for the last few years, long range shooting has been a motivator all along. But in Sweden in general, there are few chances to go beyond 600 meters, and pretty much every range is limited to 300 meters...

Rifle Scopes "Scope reticle free agency"

Hensoldt 4-16x56 with CCW locking turrets and MSR reticle. That would kick ass!! A Hensoldt 3.5-26x56 with CCW turrets and MSR reticle and, heres the kicker, a 34mm main tube. Would also not suck!

Remington 700 M24 vs Sako TRG22? The clone/mil rifle bug bit.

Well. I can tell you that even the nicest and smoothest Remington 700 will not compare to a Sako TRG 22. Ive had a handfull of Remington 700 through out the last decade or so. Everything from standard hunting types, to full on custom jobs from some reputable smiths. Some was built on older...

    Maggie’s Motivational Pic Thread v2.0 - - New Rules - See Post #1

Yes, naturally the body and skin will age. But a quality tattoo is a quality tattoo. They will not look like the old sailors tattoos of times past. And what is wrong with living in the present? You say that like it is a bad thing! I would say that 78291, 78292 and 78297 are quality work. While...

    Maggie’s Motivational Pic Thread v2.0 - - New Rules - See Post #1

Well, as a big tattoo aficionado, I can tell you that; Most of the shitty +30 year old tattoos you have seen, did not look that great when they were new either. Tattoo skills, ink and needles has come a long way since then, and chances are that a good looking (well made) tattoo made recently...

    TRG-22 Purchase

The KRG folder is a great upgrade. I will never go back. I have also had a complete Whiskey 3 chassis on a Tikka T3 some years ago, so I knew I liked it allready.

    TRG-22 Purchase

You know you want one. This is with the long barrel and suppressor, chambered in .308. It shoots as wades (above) does, it really seems to like the 175 grain SMK and Scenar L. Be sure to have some money for some KRG goodies for it. You will get the itch sooner or later.

Does brass case brand really matter?

Well, it was built by a reputable smith. But Lapua does make good stuff, so I guess both.

Does brass case brand really matter?

Yeah, shooting matches will make you loose a few cases. But in the grand scheme of things, is a few lost cases the biggest cost, and thus really an issue? You have the match fee, driving to and from the venue, food, bullets, powder and primers, and maybe a night or two at some hotel/motel. Will...

Does brass case brand really matter?

All you need to know is, that if Lapua brass is available in the caliber you shoot, then you pick Lapua brass. Accept no substitutes.

Rifle Scopes Vortex Viper HST vs PST gen 2 glass

For what it is, I have always felt that the 4-16 HST is a great scope. Ive had two and they were flawless. I have recommended them for a few new shooters or guys that didnt want to spend a month or twos salary on a rifle scope. Everyone has been happy with them. Again, for what they are. I know...

New Sig Sauer Phoenix 200 Rifle

Its nice to see that the LRD guys has licensed out their chassis directly to Sauer. That is what I guess is what has happened. Sauer has done the same thing before with GRS (Bolthorn). I think the chassis is quite nice, and I have handled it. If i still had my Sauer STR I might have been...

    Precision Rifles.....show em!!

We are on the wrong side of the Atlantic for that. But if we had the 2A here (Sweden) we would be all for it.

    Precision Rifles.....show em!!

This was his first time to the range this year. But he knows how to handle the FX, thats for sure. He has shot around a 1000 pellets with that rifle last year and I think we will be able to shoot at least another 1000 this year.
