    Patriot valley turn time

I was happy with the $275 credit. I would have preferred the rifle in a timely manner but they had no issues with giving me a credit and working with me to find something that was in stock and shipped it that day. Can't wait to try it out!

    Rifle Scopes Burris XTR3!!!

I assume they'll make some announcements at SHOT but any guesses on when we might see illuminated reticles shipping in the 5.5-30?

    Patriot valley turn time

I gave up last month. Used my credit towards a barrel (got a really nice 6.5CM cut rifled barrel in less than a week!) that was in stock. Very quick and easy transaction. From what I understand the JH rifles are starting to trickle out again, so if you are still waiting, it might not be long...

    ARC Nucleus or Bighorn Origin

Building my first rifle and went with the nucleus. Given the price of the new 1.1 or 2.0 I'd go that route. Nothing wrong with either but that's the direction I went.

    Supercross? AMA? MotoGP?

ah. the red wheels didn't look like BST's (usually they are solid construction and it looked like the front spoke was more of an I beam construction, hard to tell from the angles. I know a lot of high end bikes come with BST's (I use to use a lot of BST motorcycle wheels for displays) and they...

    Consensus on ARC mags?

since i"m in the market for mags in the near future as well, those with feedback if you can also state what cartridge and/or action you have been using in the mag that might help narrow the issues. Seems that some of the 6mm/BR cartridges tend to induce more issues, as well as some types of...

    Supercross? AMA? MotoGP?

Anything with a V4 is nice. I haven't ridden one of the new duck v4's yet but a buddy has the Tuono V4 and I like it a lot. Not enough to get rid of my Super Duke, but they do make good sounds and nice power. That Norton needs some BST's to complete the look. :)

    Supercross? AMA? MotoGP?

Getting close to that time of the year!!! Any predictions? Lots of new riders in the 450 class and so far most seem to be healthy this year.

    MDT XRS crossover chassis

They have the Oryx that already competes with the Bravo. $399 price point. I was thinking more of a McMillan style?

    Best Rimfire Suppressor Host?

Imho you need three hosts. Threaded pistol, semi auto rifle and bolt rifle. I just got my ask out of jail last week. I have a few options but the best (for me) so far: 1) Ruger Mark series pistol. I had 2 Mark II’s so I got a tactical solutions 4.5” threaded barrel. Haven’t bothered with...

    Let's talk adjustable gas blocks...

the biggest issue I could see would be the spring loaded valve getting dirty. With a DI AR, the gasses aren't just air, it's got a lot of gunk in there as shown by the amount of cleaning needed in DI guns. How long would it take to make the valves inoperable? How easy would they be to clean...

    Suppressors Suppressor tumbler cleaning

FYI if you are going to tumble the cups or internals of your suppressors in stainless pins, make sure it's SS or TI, don't do this with aluminum parts. Or cerakoted/painted parts. I just tumbled the internals of my 22 Mask and they came out looking like new. I'm going to heat them tomorrow and...

    Nucleus Build Pictures

So it looks like mine will be coming together sooner rather than later. Have an MDT ACC folder in its way, and found a lightly used Nucleus action with an 18" 308 barrel (I just got a 26" PVA 6.5cm barrel so will keep the 308 as a spare or use it for training). Has both 16# and 19# springs. So...

    MDT ACC Chassis

I know the guys at MDT are busy so I won't bother them. you guys on the other hand... what's the shortest barrel that will fit in the ACC chassis? asking for a friend.

    Short Action Question

Look at a few of the custom action makers and they will sometimes have a list of the bolt faces available for the short actions. Basically there's a 223, 6.8SPC/224V, 308 and magnum bolt faces available. Each bolt face could have a variety of chambering available (i.e. 308 bolt face is pretty...

    Nucleus Build Pictures

one big advantage for me is that I've learned a lot the past year or so of lurking on the hide and feel much more confident in getting all the parts I want to make one just the way I want it. Looking forward to moving forward and sharing knowledge in the future. FYI the barrel I ordered from...

    Nucleus Build Pictures

giving the thread a bump- slowly working towards an ARC Nucleus build. I had ordered a JH from PVA but put the deposit towards a 6.5CM barrel. That will arrive Saturday. I'm going to go with an MDT ACC chassis. I saw one in the thread, anyone else fit the Nucleus in an MDT ACC chassis and have...

Primer Ignition problem......I need more Heads to ponder

hunting rifle shooting sub moa and you don't plan to shoot it a lot? I'd stick with factory loads/ammo. Easy to find if you decide to go on a trip and a few boxes will last you a long time. not worth the time/effort to reload if you are getting that accuracy at the ranges you think you would shoot.

Primer Ignition problem......I need more Heads to ponder

But if you are resizing the "new" brass it would end up similar to once fired brass because of moving the shoulder back too much... I think...
