New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Maybe it is just me but outside of seeing slightly better detail of the shed with the NOX I think the Patrol is showing better images. Whoever told you to keep the brightness high on the NOX was wrong on that call.
Looking forward to more info and pics.
Thanks for doing this, and thanks to...
I can tell you that I recently sold an older 740 Gen 3 NV scope for $1,500. As I recall my ask was around $1,700.
So I am thinking something south of that for ATN.
Dude, elegance has no place when you are battling the predators of the night. I can assure you they do not care what the rig that kills them looks like as they will never see it. Just do what works and do not worry about the photo ops. Do not be like that Ferrari owner that only rubs it with...
Headline: Large man almost dies in a ditch. Clearly you cannot be trusted with such expensive gear, so I will offer a buck on the thousand.
Your knee, it is best to go bionic ;)
I knew a lifeguard who almost drown in a puddle.
The image above was posted years ago and it shows why the UTM/UTMX Dovetail did not work with the Mod Armory mount . I shows how it was milled out to match the mount that is to the right of it so it could work. The UTM/UTMX was never meant to be helmet mounted. When mounted in the Wilcox flip...
Like jwramp I also use PEQ-14 but with a QC5.
Not that you will ever find one but if you can find an old Laser Devices MP5 cocking tube IR laser. As I recall Steiner made some but discontinued it.
Rich from UNV posted a vid the other day on another site and just like in these pictures the resolution is amazing but what would really help is seeing actual living things. In the thermal I have just looking at my truck for example I would see a glow from the brakes or engine, but in these pics...
I do not even know when mine was made. Gen 3 tubes are rated for 10,000 hours, so saying limited life is not exactly correct as no one I know of has ever killed a tube from use. The only NV units that I have ever heard that were refurbished were the KAC PVS-30's that came out of the military...
I recently picked up a PVS-24 in a trade. Just ask for some pics to see condition. You want to make sure that it works properly. Make sure that a battery did not leak. You want to make sure it is still colminated. I would not bother asking what so many people ask, and that is how many hours are...
Did you ever consider an MDT Long Top Rail. They are not nearly as expensive as other top rail options. I have one on a Remington 700 in 308 that I had a KAC PVS-26 on. It does have a little flex but I did not experience any issues as a result.
