New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Your rifle appears to shoot decent and I wouldn't say they drifted right at 100 yards that's just your group size, which is fine and more accurate of your zero. Asking consistency from 140gr at a mile is just a big ask. A lot of things come into play besides the shooter so I would worry about...
Haha thanks. This is Shane by the way. Jaclyn and I both ran 1:10.5 this year with great success. My first barrel was 1:8 without issues but it would definitely right on the edge @3000fps.
If you don't follow recommendations and over spin them they can have issues but that's basically it. @badassgunworks saying they don't transition for shit is him just talking out his ass like usual.
I believe I still have the most recorded impacts at 3300 yards or over in competition, all of...
Again with the barrel excuses. Yes all manufactures have had good and bad results but with the large sample sizes now trends have definitely emerged. Inconsistent numbers a majority of the time from certain manufacturers is telling.
There is a large enough sample size now that you can't just blame bad results on barrels. The idea you keep pushing of shooting the highest BC as fast as possible has shown it doesn't work.
Just because it happens once isn't a good indicator. Certain bullets have proven many times over to be very consistent. Consistency wins matches not the highest BC lol.
