    I also think flat-bottom actions like the AI benefit more from being bonded than a round action in a v-block chassis. Flat on flat has no way to resist lateral movement other than the tension from the action screws.

    I bet the AI palma rifles aren't worth much compared to an AT or an AX. There just aren't that many people shooting that kind of match anymore. If it's not some rare, valuable rifle, I'd be totally on board with machining a magwell and modernizing it with a new chassis of some kind.

    I think the Huxwrx muzzle devices (flash hider and brake) don't need to be timed, so you shouldn't even need a washer. Otherwise I use the TBAC peel washers or a muzzle shim kit.
