    If the barrel nut needs to be timed I usually just hand tighten it close to where it needs to be and then finish it off to where it's properly timed. There are a couple of others like Padom that build many more precision ARs that I do and might have a different build philosophy than I do.

    Just remember that shooting a 223 caliber in a match isn't just the shooter. The spotters are really going to have to be on the ball as well. Your hits are going to be difficult for them to spot as well at longer ranges. Don't be surprised and to hard on them if you think you hit the target but...

    I don't think it's that hard to give people who ordered after black Friday priority. Just sort the orders by date. There is probably a system that identifies orders that are over due for being shipped. They probably wouldn't even have to have their order system redone.

    I'm going to be using an Aero Precision receiver set. On my 308 I used a handguard and adjustable gas block from SLR and they're great products. SLR has some of the best customer service I've seen. Can't go wrong with SLR IMO.
