New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
above 2 posts sounds very reasonable -as I am by no means an avid pistol shooter
however I do shoot very well with my 629 revolver & I have a 229sig that I don't shoot as well with -but group is centered
maybe its a pistol thing as I have always shot a revolver in the past
any way I have already...
my bad -it is a 229
it looks like the bottom of the mag is sunk in -to make it hold less rounds ?
can the mag bottom be changed out for more capacity ?
that's what I'm afraid would happen- I wished I could just find a aftermarket replacement barrel to try -no luck on that yet...
I was able to disassemble the rear sight & move the base over enough to get the windage right -but the its still low & it looks like crap with the sight that far over...
after reading positive reviews
I bought a new sar k2 45acp imported by eaa for 500.00
its basically a CZ 97 clone -all steel -14 +1 DA/SA
it has a great trigger & it groups well -fist size group at 25 ' is good for me anyhow
the problem is even with the sights maxed out it still shoots...
I picked up a used sig 226 in 40 S&W -its very small -226 compact ?
it came with one mag -flush fitting
when I looked at buying another mag -grab a gun shows 10-12-15-20 round mags for the 226
will all these fit the compact 226 ?
obviously some will extend past bottom of mag well
but...
any one else having brass bulge -visible to naked eye- with g4 glock 10mm ?
I assume a new barrel is the only fix
which aftermarket barrel has a fully supported chamber ?
at least their warranty is ....IMHO an unconditional warranty's says a lot about the products quality
as for S&B I'll never know their completely out of my league-$$$$$$
I'd like to see that in a Bushnell format as the one I posted -stating warranty is ONLY for original owner
I like Bushnell -only thing that keeps me from buying another is the warranty -or lack thereof
Im in market for a new pistol -just undecided on caliber
Im considering a 40sw or a 45 so I went in to look at some
& the guy behind counter recommended a 10mm
he said he shoots 40's in his 10mm with no issues
I don't see how the shorter case can work because reloading data says its head...
