New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
I've had Sightrons but sold them
Short on eye relief and the eye box is hard to stay behind
I replaced them with a used Swfa 5-20
And now I'm thinking about replacing both my NF and a Leopuld with 5-20 SWFA's
Clear glass -good eye relief
The eye box is pretty decent
The focus & power...
SWFA Super Sniper fixed power Scopes 300.00 -400.00 NEW
or less -used-
in the optics for sale section
there are even some Leopold's in there for under 500.00
I've heard good things about primary arms scopes - around 200.00 -but never used one
thanks - did you ever use the cat tails on them and if so -how well did they fit and work ?
both power and focus knobs are stiff and kinda hard to adjust while looking through the scope
SWFA 5-20x50 -how many versions are there ?
I assumed there was only one -but reading some post seems to indicate there are more than one model of the 5-20
I'm not talking about the illumination feature
I took my 5-22 nf & the ss 5-20 to the range today -after comparing side by side - at mid-day- I think the only thing the ss is lacking is the parallax adjustment is way better on the nf- as in easier to use while looking through the scope
the glass is really to close to call -
I actually did google it -but I still didn't see any obvious advantages over my rock-chucker with quick change LNL bushings
so far it has done EVERYTHING I NEEDED- but I like to use the best if I can verify its actually offers a better design and end product -I may buy one
Sarsilamaz k2 45acp cheap $450ish outperforms pistols costing 3-4 times as much
1 inch groups @ 25 yards rested
6 inch groups @ 25 yards offhand rapid fire

Points naturally -...
Thanks ill keep that in mind
I have put about 200 rnds through it & dry fired it a bunch watching sight picture - but that is useful info
I can move the barrel in a figure 8 when it is locked up
I emailed sarlimaz & now I'll just wait & see what they will do if anything
Hadn't heard from eaa long while so I sake my GS to call & check on it - they said it had been done for a whole but they were waiting on another 10.00 for return shipping - it cost me 65.00 plus 20.00 check to ship it to them
So I Just got it back from eaa Monday with a note test fired -ok-...
I'm not sure how it could be install incorrectly - maybe I'm missing something there -looks like it will only fit one way and it holds the striker safety plunger in place
just want to be sure were talking about the same part
I just bought a G30sf 45acp that ejects brass in my shirt pocket or face
But it ALLWAYS ejected until I worked on it
I read polishing the exstractor could be the fix - so I polished it & at same time added a 4 lb striker spring
Went back to range had a lot of jams some did not eject some...
it will be for edc if it pans out - size & weight are always a consideration even though where I live its cold or cool 9 months a year
Im really leaning towards the 30
mainly looking for any differences in internals - triggers-connectors ect. of gen4 & gen3
Glock guys help me out
I've finally decided on a Glock in .45 for my next handgun
question is which one
help me choose between a gen 4 G21 , a gen 4G30 & a gen 3 G30sf
are there any difference's in the gen 4's & the sf's other than grip texture ?
I can only get 2 fingers on the 30
but I've...
