    MDT ACC Premier Gen 2? I'm waiting for lefty versions so I haven't tried it yet, but it's supposed to be very Elite-like but better for rimfire. And cheaper.

    Spin drift or other issue?

    Make sure your rifle is not canted to the right a bit. My ballistic calculator does not show a .1 mil shift at 100 yards for spindrift on/off. It does for 150 yards. I think wind or cant are more likely causes, but spin drift could be playing a part as well.

    To just try it out, anything with > 10x magnification and exposed turrets. Highly recommend first focal plane as well. Athlon and Arken and Vortex are popular first time options. *edit* parallax needs to go down to 25 yards on your scope

    It would try to pop out if you didn't stick your finger over it, but I wouldn't say it wants to come shooting out. It's a fairly weak spring. It would probably fall on the floor at your feet.
