    Hope your agency has the training time since the large frame is harder to shoot well. Your rifle might be sub moa but without a lot of good training, I doubt too many of your officers will be able to plop down and shoot sub moa from multiple different positions on any given day.

    That’s why you have different uppers. You can’t just swap a barrel and go patrol. You need to zero at least an optic and laser now. And once people have confidence in their shit they aren’t gonna want to change it, hence already zeroed second upper.

    I did a version with ceramic paper covered by coban. 1/8” ceramic paper wrapped 3 times around and secured with tight coban has been perfect for a long gun, acceptable for a carbine. Couple more layers for a carbine would be best. Won’t melt your shit or burn you but it still gets warm...
