i new to chrono's and my first was a magnetospeed v3. had some shots that wouldnt clock but normally pretty good.
picked up a xero c1 last week and noticed it clocked faster on 2 of my 308 loads by 100 fps and 75fps BUT it was spot on with the 223 ammo tested.
i figure it was the magnetospeed...
yours came with a brake? mine was just the thread protector. i have a cheap-o no name on mine now but changing to an ultradyne apollo when i change ammo next time. i had decent recoil reduction with the surefire socom brake on an ar10 too. a nice break should help.
i assume he has a good fit...

i had a nice 3 shot group of...

whatcha mean there boss?
on a side note; if anyone is interested in reducing the gas in their piston version you can drill extra cent holes or enlarge the existing ones in the piston cup
adding holes would be to vent gas early, so behind the existing ones
i bought extra piston cups to...
i had a sig virtus that the boiling water worked on. 5-10mins and it came off fairly easy.
i read somewhere that guys where sending back to sig for removal because NOTHING worked. thats a fucked up deal too. shame on sig.
