Thank you for starting this thread and I wish it would continue, you have some of the best of the best here that got involved and not all agree with others but all are extremely experienced in different ways and many with actual hands on. This same conversation has happened in the past and...

    12.7x114mm...

Honestly it’s these type of debates, discussions that keep folks pushing forward and doing what the majority say can’t be done. Everyone here that has been in these discussions is a strong value to our shooting community throughout the past and the future. Oneshot.onehit

    12.7x114mm...

JH under oneshot.onehit stands for Jeff Heeg. The 375 was a laser and a little tuff on the throat but at the end of the day it qualified for the top ten to be in the KO2M finale. Now with it necked up to a 416 Warner it is running very well and excellent barrel life. cheers

    12.7x114mm...

Can you really believe all that chatter Jeff Heeg said? I will say the Warner pushing the 416 vs 375 is a winner for throat life and a great round In that case as well. Cheers oneshot.onehit JH

Cold Bore - Patagonia program question

6.5SH The only thing I was able to do was go into the gun profile change my zero from the setting to meters instead of the 100 yards, then when switching to the shooting solution it starts out in meters in which you can run out to its max and then click to yards while in the shooting solution...

    Custom Picatinny Rail- 22LR

Here again if you had one you would know, if they would show a picture with the power backed off a little and more reticle showing you would see. No need to try to counter or prove me wrong I own one and am only trying to help and state some new benefits within the scope. cheers oneshot

    Custom Picatinny Rail- 22LR

The 6-36x56 Razor Gen III has close to 35 mils of holdover in the EBR 7D reticle, if you own one look at it. At 20 mils of hold over the vertical line becomes bolder when using less mag as well to see easier. oneshot

    "The Blast" balloon shoot

We shot a balloon shoot in Columbus Wisconsin a few years back with the same format but I believe just one rifle class. It was a great time and different strategies compared to shooting steel. We did very well and had a Hoot and this event here should be the same, have fun. oneshot.onehit

    Custom Picatinny Rail- 22LR

Cold Bore - Patagonia program question

Anyone that would be using Cold Bore, is there a way to extend the distance some? My hand held that I have used for years is maxed out at 4500 yards. Last shot have you messed around with this at all. Thanks oneshot.onehit JH

Is my thinking right on additional elevation needed for 2M shot?

That was a very good move, eliminating all the excessive throat erosion. JH

    ELR Wind and elevation question

This is common in the world of ELR or even midrange. With a RH twist barrel a wind from 9 o’clock heading to 3 o’clock will push a bullet down some impacting low a wind from 3 o’clock to 9 o’clock will cause the bullet to climb some impacting high Its called Aerodynamic Jump if you want to...
