    Best spotting scope with reticle?

    Been going back and forth between the STR and STX, like the modularity of the STX/ATX to change objectives if you wanted but I want that reticle. I like the fact I can turn the reticle off when I just want to glass and can turn it back on when you are at the range or a match.

    Still waiting on my CORE 6.5Creed Tempest build with the PRS-1 in Saltwater pattern. The Badlands and Highlands are both awesome patterns. Ordered the Xtreme Hunter "Custom" in 6.5 PRC from GAP yesterday with the Tempest as well.......looks like 8 months worth of waiting.

    According to the attached 55.7gr of RL-26 will get you to 3050 with the 47's or 58.5gr of Retumbo but those are the maxes.

    Vortex Razor HD Vs Swarovski

    The Razor's are awesome until you look through a pair of Swaro's. I was in Africa on Safri with a pair of Razors and the guide had a pair of Swaro CL 8x30s and they to me were a better image than the Razors. I came home and ordered the EL Range in 10x42 and carry them everywhere with me now.

    My 338BA was on the recall list, sent it in and they replaced the core with the 338Ultra. Extremely smooth process. I think the recall and the ease of the re-coring led them to offer this service for all of the older P-1's, BA's and CB's.

    If you bought one that came from the factory in any other caliber than 338 then you do not need the break conversion. The newer ones in 338 also do not need the conversion but the older ones will. The early early rifles came only in Multi-Role Brown and had an FDE/Patriot Brown colored fluted...

    sierracharlie338 if you got one in any other factory color than Multi-Role brown and it has the small breach you have nothing to worry about. You have the newer rifles and 4900 is a smoking deal!
