PIG Skins Barricade Pad is here...

I think the issues would be: can the charging handle clear the pad (while providing the right height), will you get enough wrap around contour on the stock to prevent it from lifting off, and how comfortable would or be with the waffle grid pattern? Rainier arms has the SAPR on sale right now...

    Suppressors Best 300BLK can?

It's listed at 24 oz, not sure if that includes mount. The cyclone is 22 oz and feels fine on a 16" Handi rifle, but never tried it on my SBR. I personally wouldn't use either on a 9" SBR though (starting to make a short package long again), I have a SOCOM762-RC that I use now (loud with...

    Suppressors Best 300BLK can?

Quietest= AAC Cyclone or SiCo Specwar. However, in pretty excited to see how TBAC's CB9 compares to the Cyclone (should be close, but with less POI shift. If your looking for a shorter OAL, and greater versatility go with the Saker.

    AX7.62 Lowers! Group buy

Anymore pics of the Kryptek rifle? Or even better, an LM8 upper? I think the Rainier arms upper would most likely look the best with this lower (for those of you worrying about looks). Maybe I'm weird, but I'm buying this upper to add versatility to my LMT LM8. The one thing I miss about...

    A 1x8 would be awesome.

PIG Skins Barricade Pad is here...

How about trimming the sides so there wouldn't be so much that needed to be wrapped (i.e I have a LMT LM8 that I may try cutting thinner)? Bought 4, thanks! Plan on using this in conjunction with Kasey's SILO.

Yup, I plan on using this more for stand hunting. I plan on using the SI-POD for competitions.

Suppressors 7.62 SOCOM Approved.........What to buy and wait on now?

It sounds like a 556-RC or 762-mini would be perfect for your needs if subs are taken out of the equation. A 762-mini would be pretty sweet on a hunting rig

Suppressors 7.62 SOCOM Approved.........What to buy and wait on now?

Send a PM to Garin "Kudu22". He is a Surefire rep on these boards. When I was in the market for another can (556-RC vs. 762-mini) he steered me away from the mini because the 5.56 would be that much quieter. It also happens to be cheaper. Masked is absolutely correct, comparing my 762-rc to...

Suppressors "The Dip" is more poisonous than hydrogen cyanide?

This +100. Most people have good results with Kroll Oil for center fire cans. I personally use fire clean on the brakes and mounting surfaces of my qd cans.

Suppressors 7.62 SOCOM Approved.........What to buy and wait on now?

All good options so far. I too went the SOCOM762-RC and 556-RC route (556 still pending). My only caveat would be if you don't shoot a lot of 5.56 then a Saker 7.62 would be more useful (backup 30 cal can, can use 5.56 end cap, also can be direct threaded etc. ) 22 cans: the Sparrow...

    Suppressors 30 cal suppressor recommendations

SPECWAR+ Spectre ii+ 400 tax= 1,219.00 Saker 762+tax= 1,100.00 The specwar would will be quieter on 308 and 300 blackout but it may be a toss up with the Saker being able to use a 5.56 end cap (I've never looked up Specwar ' numbers). However, the Saker allows you to direct thread it as well...

New product reveal pending, are you in?

Email sent. Thanks again to both Kasey and Lawnm Edit: Can't wait for the SI-pod.... would be extra sweet to have quick deployment legs on that bad boy (unfortunately at the cost of the 45 degree angled positions).

Silencer shop is running a special right now. Buy a Specwar or Harvester and get a spectre ii for 99 bucks.

    Suppressors 30 cal suppressor recommendations

I currently have a SOCOM762-RC. It's a great can but not very quiet on 300 blackout. It shines on full powered loads and can double as a precision can with the lack of POI shift. I have no experience with the KAC cans or MAMS, but those that have them love them. They are pricey, and IMHO...

Suppressors Anyone put a can on Browning ABolt II?

I can't seem to find it now. But one "gunsmith" thought it would be a good idea to make an adapter out of the BOSS device. End result: baffle strike. They make thread adapters that go from Browning BOSS threads to 5/8x24. But I don't think the standard A - bolt barrel provides enough...

New product reveal pending, are you in?

Kasey, A couple quick questions: 1.What part of the SILO is rubber? The bracing face or is the insert more for vibration reduction? 2. Will the SILO be able to fit in a HOG/PIG saddle clamp? Thanks again, I can't wait to get mine! The SI - POI is what I was originally envisioning but...
