New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
I used arrow head rifles parts in mine. He's got everything you need on the website. Will need someone to do the machine work though.
There's a few different places that build them, think LR Customs and Jeff Hankins are a couple off the top of my head.
All mine have been done by Bestill...
Definitely don't scrap it. Those still make good actions for a smokeless conversion if you ever get the urge. Got one myself and its a solid 500 yard muzzleloader.
I have had some form of hound since I could walk. We always start them out around .22s and when they are comfortable with that move to something like 410. Give them some treats as your shooting to take their mind off it.
Had a weimaraner we used for doves and there's a lot of shooting going on...
My marauder was .25 and has the green mountain barrel but would shoot under 3\4 all the time and half inch most of it at 50 yards. Its like any other rifle, all about the tune and pellets.
Oh yeah, and winds a bitch.
Wife has one, I don't fuck with it, but would definitely second salt.
Was told once "2 best days as a pool owner are the day you get it and day you get rid of it".
I have the mkii impact with power plenum. I may have got lucky but haven't had any issues at all. Its .25 cal and I shoot the 34 gr jsb at around 920 fps. Just clean the barrel around every 3 tins of pellets and it stacks them. Killed a ground hog at 93 yards with a head shot the other day...
Just saw this thread, been pulling bluegill through the ice since Jan 23rd. A long stretch for se indiana.
Got back from catching crappie on lake Kissimmee in Florida on the 22nd in 70 degree temps to gills in 20 degrees the next day.
Would rather eat the fish out of the ice!
