    6-284 with 95 gr bullets

Have been trying for quite a while to get my 6-284 to shoot 105-107 gr. bullets. No luck with countless combos. Rifle is 1:8 so a friend suggested I try some 95 gr. bullets before I take the barrel off. Berger twist calculator says I would be just fine. So, if you have a starter load suggestion...

    22 Creedmoor Brass

I have 100 cases of Copper Creek 22 Creedmoor brass LRP. The necks have been skim turned, otherwise brand new. I use SRP cases and stupidly didn't realize what I had ordered until I had started turning them. I am asking $80 shipped. Prefer Pay Pal but will also do USPS M. O.

Questions about neck dies, and custom dies.

I believe you have to send in at least 3 fired cases. The reason I won't spring for a custom die is because it's only good for that particular barrel. Unless you own the reamer. Why are you neck sizing?

    22 creedmoor

I chose the 1:8 as the best compromise and haven't second guessed at all.

Savage. Is this a good buy starting LR

I like Savages but, I would be willing to bet the owner didn't pay over $450-$475 for the rifle. Do you feel he has put over $725 worth of options into it? I , personally, don't see the value. Keep looking!

What are you guys using for priming tools?

I use the RCBS automatic with Hollands option. It is very good with lots of feel. On another forum I saw the Bald Eagle priming tool was available and got one. It is a single primer feed but, that doesn't matter. I have more time then sense! Anyway, the Bald Eagle is a little jewel. However, to...

What are you guys using for priming tools?

Look at, "Holland's" optional kit for the RCBS priming tool. I use it and it works great and a great help for old fingers that don't like the hand held tools.

    Table size?

Where's there's a will there's a way! However, I have 3 tables and always looking for more room. That size you are looking at would probably be fine if you use it for your charged cases and bullets only.

How are you using your RCBS Chargemaster

I use bushing dies to size my cases. My CM is about 2' from my press. I can seat bullets anytime the CM is running and not disturb anything. The top of my bench is regular 3/4" plywood. I can't imagine needing the press to cam over to seat a bullet.

Peterson 6.5 Creedmoor Small Rifle Primer Brass

I took some out today that I necked down to 22 Creedmoor. I was shooting 80.5 gr Bergers with lots of IMR 4350 in 84 degree weather. I was getting the faintest of ejector marks. Will see how the primer pockets feel like when I load them again.

Velocities decrease with higher charge sometimes...why?

Maybe you need a hotter primer as you increase the powder load. Just guessing, don't know.
