Just a couple of shots from our last club match. Later on it absolutely pissed down with rain. Lots of the custom actions started to foul up and have issues. The AX just kept on going strong as expected.

Mate you are absolutely right. I could and probably should shorten it up a bit and move the scope forward. All things to try and improve my shooting (although I'm far from the worst haha). For reference I'm 5'10" and 95kg. Cheers

Finally had the chance to shoot my 6.5 Creedmoor Bartlein barrel in a match last weekend. Such a big difference to the 308. I've still got a long way to go with my shooting; however, I managed to pull a 5th place.

I finally had a chance to get to the range to shoot my Bartlein 6.5 creedmoor barrel on the AX. These two groups were shot in the run in process with a generic load. I don't have a load 100% sorted for it yet; however; it shows promise. All shooting was from the bench as this particular range...

What's the most stupid thing you've been told?

I once got told by this old and bold type that the M249 was originally developed from a 5.56 semi auto sniper rifle design. Hahahaha. When questioned further he couldn't answer any of my questions. It was "Just what I was told once". Idiots are everywhere.

In 2017 I attended the innaugral Australian PRS event in Mildura, Victoria and was lucky enough to walk away with a Bartlein HV barrel blank in .264 . Well now I've got an AX I have a rifle worthy of the barrel. I had it spun up into a 6.5 creedmoor. Definitely better than the 308 I was running...

left is my AX mag that came with my rifle and right is an AW mag i picked up 2nd hand to work with it. Every other genuine AI mag I have ever seen has the AI logo stamped on the bottom. Did another company also make AW mags aftermarket? Cheers

    Folding chassis recommendations..

I own an AI AX and believe that chassis is awesome; however, I also have a build in a KRG W3 chassis. Both serve their intended purpose for me; but, I actually prefer the KRG chassis ergonomics. You best bet is to get out to a match and find people with the various chassis's within your budget...

Always have been. Always will be. We are just limited. Having an AI is enough for me for now. Of course i would want more though. But thats a story for another thread.

Just a few photos of our PRS Australia match the Delta Tactical Steelpocolypse from this last weekend down here near Melbourne. It was very very wet and windy.

    AXMC won't extract

Glad i found this thread. My brand new AX308 is having the same problem. Spoke to my local distributor here in Australia and they actually have a whole bunch of extractors in the way. Surely AI test function their rifles before they leave the factory? It appears they don't though. Video for...
