New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
124gr Hammer Hunters. Ran these for the first time this last season in a 20" 6.5 creed and they kicked ass. Less blood shot, full penetration, pedals did good damage and they were crazy easy to load for.
I noticed on one of the videos that Frank was shooting a 6.5 PRC in the new setup so there's obviously already a mag bolt face, very good news. But what I noticed was the total lack of recoil. I wonder if this was a product of having the 338 can on or the new magical chassis setup.
Looking forward to what the other colors look like. Has there been any word on how crazy expensive the accessories are going to be?
Maybe i missed it somewhere but i take it these will be small firing pin's?
Any updates from those running this cartridge? Been looking for a .224 bolt gun for a while and this is sure intriguing. Interested in barrel life mostly. I dont plan on running it hard, looking to push 80-90gr pills in the 3000-3100 range from a 23-24" barrel.
Does anyone know if they fixed the finicky parallax from the previous generations? This scope looks amazing but not if it has that supper sensitive parallax. If it has S&B US or Kahles parallax then im sold.
Oh, I didn't realize it came off that way. I would never get rid of my S&B, if the prices didn't go so sky high on them I would be considering another one. But I do like the reticles in the ZCO and want to try one out. Apologize if the post was miss leading. Just trying to add to the collection.
Can't decide and I'm sure someone here has the answer. I run a S&B PMii 3-20x50 US and I love this optic, the field of view, parallax, and most of all the huge "eye box" its so easy to get behind in any position and even at 20x seems like I can move my head around a lot and still have a great...
I did the same thing with my M4-2000. I was lucky in that i was shooting subs, but my dump ass didnt catch it until the second round. Bulged the end cap just a bit (fixed with a dead blow hammer) and looks like it took a little chip out of the first baffle but works and sounds fine so i just run...
Have a 318i on a hunting rifle. Rifle got dropped and the scope took a pretty good hit on some rocky ground. Didnt seem to hurt anything and it was still zeroed and good to go. Nightforce light weight rings. Havent banged my 525 around but im sure it would be ok. I say pick which one you like...
I just cant help myself..... and lets be honest, we all miss our suppressor expert.

I see that the suppressor expert got tired of educating all of us on what idiots we are about cans and went over to LR Hunting form to straighten them out. Personally i check in every day just to see what junior has to say.
