    Need a good chronograph

I have a LabRadar which I really like. It is very accurate and reliable once you learn how to use it. It takes batteries or a mobile pattern pack and also has an SD card slot to save all your data. You can use it for anything from archery, to pistol, to rifle.

    New hunting rifle opinions

I love my TRG 22 6.5 cm, and that’s the main reason I want a Sako 85 to hunt with, but for that price I can also get a trg 42 338 Lapua (which I really don’t need but really want). I just with they had a few more caliber options.

    New hunting rifle opinions

Looking to buy a new hunting rifle and was thinking about the Sako 85 Carbonwolf. The rifle is about $3k comes with a full carbon fiber adjustable stock. Do any of you have any experience with this rifle? Would you recommend something else? I don’t want to pay any more than this ($3k is actually...

    Measuring CBTO. Consistently inconsistent

I used the same bullet and measured about 10 times. With variance of 2.650-2.700. Are you implying measuring cbto with multiple bullets?

    Measuring CBTO. Consistently inconsistent

This is great. I’m gonna give it a try. Anyone have any info on how to remove the firing pin and extractor from a Sako TRG? I have never done it before.

    Measuring CBTO. Consistently inconsistent

Hello all, I recently purchased some Hornady A-tip 153’s. I’m using a Hornady OAL length gauge but I’m having a pretty significant variation in results. Anywhere from 2.6500 to 2.700. It all really depends on how much pressure I apply to the rod. Any advice on getting a more accurate...

Range Report 6.5 CM with heavy bullets

I’ve been shooting Hornady ELD-m 147’s out of my Sako trg and been getting velocities around 2760 fps out of a 26” barrel 8” twist. I think I can probably push it to around 2800 but haven’t really tried. (42.4 gr of h4350 out of Lapua brass) Either way, I purchased some of the new 153 A-tips...

    Seating Hornady 135 atip

Sorry if this is a stupid question but how do you determine whether they fit well or not. I also have the Redding competition dies and haven’t noticed any problems with the 147 eld-m

How many pieces of brass do I need?

Thanks for all the replies. I bought 200 more for a total of 300 pieces of Lapua brass. I also just remembered that I had saved all of the brass from the factory loads I shot when I first got my rifle. So 200 Hornady

How many pieces of brass do I need?

I recently started reloading and started with 100 pieces of 6.5 cm Lapua brass. I wasn’t sure if I was going to get into it or not so I didn’t want to invest too much. Well... I’ve confirmed that I really enjoy it and wanted to buy more brass but don’t know how much I should have. I was thinking...

    6.5 Creedmoor Hornady 153 gr A-Tip

Thanks. I just ordered some. Should probably get them by Monday. I use Redding competition seating dies. Idk if they make a specific sleeve for their dies. I use the standard sleeve with my 147’s. I don’t think I’m having any problems lol

Considering reloading, but am not sure.

Hey I was in a similar position and recently just started reloading for my Sako Trg 22 6.5 cm. It was already an extremely accurate rifle. Shooting .25-.5” groups all day long. I was testing the ammo I was using with my chrono and wasn’t too happy with the velocity and spread so I decided to...

Range report load development, the good and the bad!

Finally got out to test out more loads for my Sako TRG 22 - 6.5 CM (26" barrel). I loaded 30 rounds with charge weights ranging from 41.5 - 42.7 gr of H4350 in 0.3 gr increments (6 rounds of each, 3 of which were with 0.001 neck tension and the other 3 with 0.003 neck tension. Charge weight...

    Watches?

This is ridiculous. They are tool watches. I have 4 rolexes, the least accurate of the bunch is 2 seconds fast per day. The most accurate is about 1 second fast over the course of a week. Waterproof to 300 feet minimum and up to 13,000 feet for one model.
