New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Thanks for the intel, glad to hear we have a good guy and talented shooter. I'll keep an eye out for Bryan. My Am has a GAP rifle, so I'm sure he'll be thrilled to shooting with a GAP team member.
I was hoping to see a Miculek, Danny Horner, Philip Velayo, or another top shooter on the list, and squad with them. No such luck. I did squad with the Hornady team though, so I am excited to see what I can learn from the pros.
Got linked up with my amateur as well. He seems like a good guy. We are shooting an outlaw match this weekend to get to know each other and our shooting/communication styles.
I didn't weigh it before I installed it, but it wasn't bad. It certainly feels lighter than my other rifles with 20 inch barrels, because the weight is distributed more rearward.
I've got no complaints. I got mine as a 6.5 CM finished at 20 inches, with a 1-7 twist. Its consistently prints 1/2 to 3/4 MOA groups with Hornady 120 grn ELDMs. It could certainly do better in the hands of a more competent rifleman.
For sale is a Vortex 50% Off Certificate. A great way to save some cash on your next scope purchase. I was going to use it, but decided on Nightforce.

This happened to me recently. I was forced to switch projectile types from traditional jacketed bullets to copper alloy monoliths. I cleaned the barrel, loaded up a mag, and my 1/2 MOA rifle immediately turned into a 1 3/4 MOA or worse rifle. It took 50 rounds and another cleaning for it to...
Is anyone here a metalworker by trade? I am not, and I’m going to attempt it but I’d also like some pointers on material selection and bending technique. Also, it’s going to be done by hand tools, as I don’t have a press.
Has anyone ever made a mag loading tool for the SRS? I beat the crap out of my hands while constantly loading cartridges into my mags this weekend at a PRS match. I'm envisioning something akin to the plastic tools that come with most single feed pistol mags. If not, I might go grab some sheet...
