    22 ARC & 95 SMKs

I’ve shot the 95gr SMKs in my 22 BRA and found they shot amazing at 100 but lacked enough spin to reach their advertised BC. 32.4gr H4350, 2920 fps. Even with a 1:7 and 300,000 RPM the G7 trued at 0.283 compared to the 0.299 Sierra states. And this was with a 0.160” freebore reamer to fit these...

Varget in 6mm GT (sorry so fabulous i forgot to add which 6)

My theory is Varget and H4350 are the same thing just in different kernel sizes to affect burn rate. I never noticed Varget being a dirty powder. It seems to have completely average fouling.

How do you guys organize ammo when testing?

This but using a label maker instead of a sharpie.

    Building the Perfect Reloading Room

Spotty work with the router then wood filler to try to hide some of my messy work was my process.

    Extra barrel storage

I made a wall rack to store them at home. To bring out to the range I will either use the TAB sleeves or my deeper case has cut outs for barrels in the bottom layer. Also I've just laid them in the bed of my truck also and that works just fine.

Do you drink anything while shooting?

Water. Even shooting positional PRS stages all day just doesn't require much work.

How long is too long for a bolt gun barrel and suppressor?

DRT for dyslexics :) As long as your not carrying it around then any the extra length won't be an issue until the length gets absurd. I have no issues with a 27" barrel plus TBAC 338 SR can with a bench/prone gun.

    300 Norma Mag

My redding dies do their job without issue. SAC doesn't make a sizing die for the 300 Norma last time I checked.

    Ultrasonic cleaners

I clean my brass with an ultrasonic. I've used simple green, dish soap, lemishhine and car wash soap and they all work fine. I've been sticking with an Armorall car wash soap recently because it's easy to rinse off and cheap. Simple green is difficult to rinse off and when I dry the cases I've...

    Accuracy International Picture Thread

Fixit sticks. I just got the single torque limiter that I need and not the entire set. I think I use the 49 in-lbs one and it works great, is small, and simple to use.

Mk III or whatever the international version of the AXSR is called.

    22 or 6 gt for hunting/ prs

Flip a coin. I shoot similar rounds, 6 dasher and 22 BRA and find them both to perform great with minor differences between them.

    Accuracy International AT-X

A proof competition contour worked ok for me with weights. I shot out that barrel without issue and since then have moved on to slightly lighter MTU profiles and stripped out the weights.

    300 Norma Mag

3000 - 3050 loaded with around 87gr of n570. Just watch your barrel temps because n570 burns hot and long strings of fire will trash your barrel.

    sierrabullets.com Load Data

A better question might be: are there any manufacturers publishing load data that isn't incredibly conservative? Hogdon data is equally as weak as Sierras and VV load data is silly. Is there any published data that matches up better with real-world loads?

    7 PRC action length

    Long action all the way.

    Powder IN-STOCK thread

And limit of 1 box, which was a pass for me.

    Finish/stain for reloading bench ?

That looks solid and functional, I'd be happy with that.

    .22 BRA

Thanks for the reminder to avoid neck turning. :p I'm not chasing that extreme level of accuracy. My Alpha brass loaded measures .241* and from memory I believe Lapua was also .241*. I'll be sticking with .255 no-turn necks. *.251 :)
