    Powder IN-STOCK thread

Gotta be fast  I saw the email and figured I'd stock up 215m's and was able to submit an order before they went OOS.

Precision Rifle Gear Pfl338 3d printing goods

I like his AI screw on bore guides and tenon protectors as well. Also the AI bolt sleeves are nice and I have the AT V4 deck cover.

Suppressors SOLVED - New to cans - by far my biggest surprise has been...

That's not anything I've experienced in years of suppressed shooting.

Will Alpha Dethrone Lapua As The Best Brass Around?

Alpha had a bad batch of 6GT. My buddy bought some a month or two directly from Alpha and they contacted him to replace it. And on topic, for me Alpha is in the same tier as Lapua for me. I'm happy with either and glad both are available options.

    Accuracy International Picture Thread

Its the basic one from AI that comes on some rifles. I find it does the job just fine for me. I use a game changer schmedium as a rear bag which is large enough to not need a bigger bag rider.

    Accuracy International Picture Thread

    It's OK I guess

Is it worth reloading precision ammo on a single stage versus progressive press?

I wouldn't trade my Dillon 550 for any other press. I use an autotricker for powder but do everything else with the 550.

Night Vision Vortex Impact 4000 Rifle/Rail mounted Range finder???

My Vortex is riding on top of my Bushy spotter with reticle. Its mainly there because I haven't needed a rifle mounted ranging solution so it's convenient and versatile to mount it on my spotter and keep it there.

First adventure with a BR family cartridge - impressed so far

Once you go to a BR variant it's hard to find a reason to go back to 6 CM. Regarding the primer FTF, I'd assume the BR case in a BRA chamber crushed forward into the chamber and that's what caused the FTF. Even though the BRA shoulder neck junction is set back .004" compared to a BR I believe...

    Strongest bore cleaner available

Yes it does remove copper (and carbon equally.) I used to against abrasives but I'm giving Thorroclean a shot. If I find out that it's wearing out barrels prematurely I'll ditch it. So far I haven't seen anything negative.

    Strongest bore cleaner available

It might not be the strongest but I've recently started using thorroclean. It gets the job done quickly. I don't scrub until the barrel looks new, I just want to get most of the build up out and clean out the necks. I use nylon brushes that are up one more size and that helps clean out the...

Cleaning jags and brushes with caliber markings?

I keep mine in a cheapo plastic case with dividers.

    Which Shot Timer

I like my kestrel for the adjustable sensitivity and easy to use settings.

    .22 BRA

I loaded the 85.5gr LRHTs at 50k off the lands and tested charge weights today. 50k is giving me plenty of accuracy so thanks for the tip, that lets me skip testing jumps.

    Accuracy International AT-XC

I don't own an XC but have trigger time on one. I'd agree the lift was noticably lighter and that 20-30% estimate seems fair. Smoothness is the same, all AIs are a bit rough out of the box until the finish in the action and on the bolt wears in some. And the giant ball felt very different.

    .22 BRA

You're correct. I have the standard SAC 22 cal bullet comparator so that explains the difference.

    6mm Dasher

I think that slow-Dasher trend is very specific to PRS but not everyone's shooting PRS and even those who do don't all follow the trend. I prefer more middle-ground velocities myself. The old classic 105 Hybrid at 2920ish with a 26" Dasher makes more sense to me. I think if I wanted to follow...

    .22 BRA

1.763 CBTO by my measurements with a Berger 85.5gr would be 0.002" into the lands; does that seem right to you? I measured my distance to the lands with the 3 bullets I'm testing and got these measurements: Berger 85.5gr: 1.761 Sierra 90gr: 1.777 Sierra 95gr: 1.763 And here's what those 3...

    .22 BRA

I'm picking back up 22 BRA after not awhile away from the round. Working on fire forming out all my cases and starting load development. Last week I tested out various fire forming loads and settled with 28.0gr of Varget. I'm forming Alpha 6BR brass using a 90gr SMK that isn't jammed. Tested...
