    I don't want to be rude but I think it needs to be said: I don't think there's a "Best" one these days. There are pro/cons for each custom out there but pretty much every custom on the market feels very good or downright awesome, every one is plenty capable of being true and accurate, etc...

    Correct. When we do sales we typically restrict some of the options in contour/finish/action options so that we're not waiting on receivers to show up here and finish off a chambering in production.

    We don't do any trigger timing on the Solus stuff. It's one of those things that Insurance carriers get real touchy about really fast since the Remington and Sig lawsuits. For the dollars involved in timing them, it's the same cost to buy a higher dollar action with different trigger hangers...

    Yep, I have a number of them and was pleasantly surprised by the fit and finish. @padom turned me onto them and the adjustable key setup last year. He's been using them with great results for a while and when I met Dom a decade ago he was running all JP parts.

    We went +2 on all our gas systems because it tamed things down from the slower powder and higher port pressures. Then when I started playing with the adjustable gas key carriers from RCA I was impressed by how simple it was to set those guns up.
