New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Shot the spike for a while. Brought two 10/22s down to single hole groups at 50 when adjusting the torque on it. Backed out once during a match. Haven’t used it since. Fool me once…
Have had the TS-12 on my squirrel gun since early 2020. It's a great little scope for the money. In the dim of the fading sun low mag is pretty terrible though. ( not bad at 10x in low light) The reticle is very thin, wouldn't be an issue if lighted.
You people are lucky... the only practice I'm afforded is at the matches. No where in my area to practice unfortunately. That said, lack of practice has not been an issue either. (Luckily)
I built mine to be closer to a hunting weight. As matches are more for fun and practice. My comp gun comes in right under 9lbs. Balance point is at the mag w/ bipod attached. Still very handy and stable. Shoots bugholes...
Any pointers on spotting trace through the scope? Can't seem to see my shots very well during matches. Not sure if it's because I have tunnel vision or what. Can easily do it spotting for others just not when I shoot.
Glass is mid tier: Gen 2 Midas TAC
Thanks
Ever thought about the Nylon 66? I love mine. Just reworked a friend's Fieldmaster for Christmas. Cool gun, he's had it since we were kids. Now it's " new" again
