New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Looking to sell my steiner p4xi scope. Scope is NIB. I only opened it to look at and back in the box it went. New job has severely limited my free time so I dont think I'll be doing as much target shooting as I was. The gun it was bought for is way behind schedule from the gunsmith so this will...
I'd give the barnes vortex a try. I shoot them in my 243 and they have knocked a few deer drt and killed everything else they hit. Im sure the 308 bullets would work fantastic.
I have one of these in a 223. Mines on a Templar action. Its a laser. Put a picture of mine just to share.

Secondly this thread is from February. I already purchased a Lumenox black ops 8881 watch. Serves my needs well. Was going to purchase the...
Lot of great suggestions. It's hard to say which is the best as everyone seems to have personal preferences. I'm always looking to get the best bags and like trying new ones out. But for some reason I always end up back the the red tac cylinder bags I bought decade ago.
I think you did the right thing. I was going to say to have it glass bedded, make sure the barrel is still free floated and have original trigger tuned. Then buy another tikka just in case you need it. (Always fun to buy a new rifle)
Then I'd hunt with grandpa's rifle and feel good knowing you...
This looks like the ultimate classic deer rifle. The 243 is my favorite round for hunting deer. Would you separate the rifle and rings from scope? By any chance are you located in NY? Just wondering from painting in picture.
