New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
I want one some day. But every individual I run into that has one knows fuck all about them. So I can't really trust them to sell an item that is even in working order.
And then the internet has the dilemma of getting things shipped in one piece.
And I have no desire due to my vision to...
Field Target or FT is a very popular air rifle sport. That preceded the "Field matches" like NRL22 or PRS22 by a long margin. They estimate range and engage small flip over targets from often little to no support with quite small hit zones.
The FT guys would put many NRL guys to shame.
At a match, guy had a stuck brass. Nobody had a cleaning rod. I said, grab a pair of pliers or channel locks and look in the parking lot for someone with a removable radio antenna.
Everyone chuckled....but it worked. Best part was watching them try to slowly feed the rifle down onto the...
Anything with ammonia in it will eat aluminum. Pretty much all popular solvents have it. AAC recommended/assured to me Kroil prior to purchasing my sealed all aluminum can. Kroil doesn't do fuck all but stink and leach out for days. And that's after soaking for days.
I had a shop hang my can...
I didn't make this. I just pulled images from Google.
This likely just uses this toggle to hold it in place as its slipped in through the back. That small board in the back is placed/screwed in to maintain the angle of the dangle.
The intent of this thread is creative barricades. Which is antithetical to your question sorta....
If you want portable/cheap/easy props....get everything on the NRL22 barricade list.
All of them (even if you build your own rooftop or tank trap or triangle ladder) are all easy to assemble...
There's a similar style metal Buffalo over by Agency Village south of Sisseton. Out in the country on an paved country road intersection. Used to drive by it on my route. Just a random field/pasture. You drove by the first time and your like wtf is that?!?
Found it on Google maps using...
Should've got on board when they offered this. I had two mags in my box when mine arrived. Still haven't bothered with the bolt handle or mag extention.
It's more front heavy than my Carbon in the AICS. My prior rig was much better balanced front to back (and top to bottom). I like the feel of the KRG....and it runs fine. Especially for the $350 I paid for it. But it has a front bias that barricade shooters prefer. I can't show you till...
Took the Stainless out after work. It went from 44°F down to 36°F over the period of an hour. But got some shooting done.
You'll have to forgive the target. I can't say no to free mostly clean targets that people leave behind. The X's are where someone shot prior. 50 yards away.
Bottom...
I have a post in a b14r thread...scroll almost to the bottom.
