I don't regret my purchase. So far the scope is doing everything that I've asked it to do. As I gain experience I may decide that I prefer other features, but for now it works for me.

I don't disagree with that. As someone who has worked in manufacturing for 20 years I do know that some are better at QC than others, and even good companies have system failures from time to time; new employees, manager changes, etc. It all has an impact.
