New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
6.5-284 brass is not the easiest to find, especially not at a price I can afford. I've notice that .284Win is sometimes available at a more affordable price and would like to see how well .284Win can be sized to 6.5-284. I think I only need one or two cases to experiment with.
Thank you,
Richard
Frank,
Yes, I saw (and used) the button on the lower left. Convenient.
As I said, I was stating a preference; NOT making a complaint. We all know how hard you work to keep this forum going. If the new look is what we get, it's what we all will use.

Put me down as another fan of the old theme. It felt easier to read and to navigate.

Since I have the original color image, I can only assume that someone working at Gun Digest publishing misappropriated this photo that was done for a book written by the subject (Peter) and printed by Gun Digest. (GD converted all photos to B&W for publishing.)
At least it's amusing.

I have a JM marked 1895 in 45-70. Two major problems (from my viewpoint):
1. It's a microgroove barrel.
2. The bore should slug out at .457 so a .458 cast bullet would be correct. My bore measures .4595", so I would need a cast bullet sized to just about .462. These are not to be found and I...
