Gunsmithing M16 extractor conversion to BAT Machine bolts.

@stevieb92 , for those who take the time to read your response, they’ll see that @LRI didn’t do the work on your bolt but are being helpful. Maybe include that info in your initial post with the pictures so folks know that isn’t LRI’s work. 👍🏻

Hornady is making knockoff/clone bullets (Aeromatch)

Good point. But in the off chance it does, or someone wants to run with an identical / similar creation, I can see the merit. 👍🏻

Hornady is making knockoff/clone bullets (Aeromatch)

You’re right. I thought I had the Berger one pulled-up. I’ll delete the link to avoid confusion

Hornady is making knockoff/clone bullets (Aeromatch)

.27-.29 is a pretty big spread. Even if it’s not as good for our purposes, I’d argue it’s hard to nail, to the third decimal, the G1 b.c. without them being IDENTICAL. Only time and folks measuring, and shooting them, will see if that holds true.

Hornady is making knockoff/clone bullets (Aeromatch)

And, even without watching the video, how would it be possible to nail the ballistic coefficients exactly and not have to adjust seater stems if the bullets weren’t identical?

Hornady is making knockoff/clone bullets (Aeromatch)

@spife7980 , if you watch the video, it’s obvious the 105 and 140 are hybrids.

    Straight-pull bolt action

Very true, Kiba. That’s good info and one of the reasons I suspected. I’ll update if they do / can provide a dimension. 👍🏻
