    Best thing you can do is download the manual and watch the tutorial videos. The software does what it is supposed to do. If you like the software and features jump on it. I use FFS and love it.

    50bmg Improved

    Probably 150-200fps depending on the bullet weight. Look at a print for a 50 Williams reamer, it was a good improved version that worked well. The real question is powder. Will RL-50 Work? I can run 250 grains behind an 808 grain bore rider with some serious speed.

    Great day in Racine yesterday. Weather was absolutely perfect, and a good crew showed up. Was fun to shoot with everyone again. Cleaning the last multi yard stage at 600 felt good too :) I might finally be getting a handle on running the 142's again.

    Use some pine Rosin on the rings when you mount a scope. Don't buy the expensive stuff from the gun shop.. get a bag at A sports store or something of the like.

    I've been using 28% ammonia with a drop or two of dish soap for years, will never change either. No negative effects on barrels. I always use a liberal washing of alcohol after copper removal, then kroil, then a dry patch.
